It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Cushing on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the age of 75 years, surrounded by his loved ones. Son of the late Michael Cushing and the late Lavina Denault of Pembroke, Ontario. Bob was the loving and devoted husband of Emily Cushing (nee McIvor), beloved father of Jennifer, Michael and Blake Cushing (Leah). Dear grandfather of Jenika, Justin, Jacob, Sienna and Ivy. Bob also leaves behind his brother Raymond and his sister Vickie, his many in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his brother Marvin. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Saturday, February 22, 2020 after 12 noon, followed by a Celebration of Bob`s Life at 1 pm in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation - Cancer Unit would be greatly appreciated.
