It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Robert Grether on Wednesday November 21, 2012 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Rose Marie for 55 years. Much loved father of Mike, Suzanne and Paul and joyful father-in-law to Tony and Marisa. He will be greatly missed by his four grandchildren, “Grandpa” to Roberto and Melissa and “Grand papa” to Tobias and Theodore. Survived by his sister Suzi and predeceased by Nicole and Paul-André in Switzerland. Friends and family may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home 1411 Hunt Club Rd. at Albion Rd. on Saturday from 2 - 4 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will begin at 4 p.m. in the chapel.
