Robert Joseph Isodore Rene Albert Jobin

Passed peacefully in Ottawa on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Born in Ottawa on September 4, 1939. Loving husband to Sigrid M. Caron. Robert was the son of the late Rene Joseph Jobin and the late Loretta Mary Soubliere. He is survived by his children Susan (John Marincak), Heide Hall (Claude Giroux), Barbara (Bruce Moore) and Robert; and their mother Sigrid Jobin; and step-children Carmen (Tony Gilkes) and Sandra (predeceased) (Frank McLeod); his grandchildren Joe, Shari, Candice, Sean, Chantele, Jeffrey, Hannah and Nora and step-grandchildren Alex, Ryan and Katelynn; great grandchildren Payden, Joey Jr., Addison, Jasun, Jeseaka and Logan, and step-great grandchildren Addy, Archer, Beau, Charlie and Murphy; his siblings Carol (Jean-Marc Thibault), Lorraine and sister-in-law Edda (Sheldon Ladner), predeceased by his dear brother Richard and sister-in-law Muriel; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends. The Family wish to thank the Perley Health staff for their excellent care, love, and friendship that our Father enjoyed in long-term care. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa) on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 10:30 a.m.; Funeral Service Mass will be at 11:30 a.m.; and the Procession to Beechwood Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa); Burial Military Service will be at 1 p.m..
