My deepest sympathy to Andree and the rest of Bob's family for their loss. I knew Bob from his working days in tech. We played bridge together. He always struck me as someone who was pretty laid back and had a great sense of humour.

I first met Bob through Andree back in the late seventies when we both worked together for a facsimile communications company here in Ottawa. At first meeting, Bob  struck me as somewhat quiet and reserved, but I'll remember him most for  a great sense of humour and his down to earth type of approach to life. Ideal traits for a fellow golfer!

I had the pleasure to know and work with Bob at the Passport Office. I will always remember his good sense of humour and friendly nature.

I express sincerest condolences to Andree for the loss of Bob. Andree and Bob were financial planning clients of mine when I retired. Bob was a gentleman and a congenial, cheerful person to work with. I extend best wishes to Andree for the future.

My condolences to Andree and the rest of Bob's family with the sudden loss of Bob from your lives.  Bob was very kind to take me under his wing and try to teach me the game of golf when I retired several years ago.  How he had the patience to put up with me, I'll never know!  However, it probably did provide him with a source for many golf jokes.  We had many good times on the golf courses around the area.  I'll remember Bob for his "ready to play anytime" attitude and his great sense of humor.  We also had many pleasant afternoons playing bridge with Harley acting as the fifth.  Many thanks to Andre for hosting us.
