Peacefully at Elisabeth Bruyère Hospital on Thursday September 23, 2010 at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Carole Bellfoy. Dear son of the late Hector Laviolette and the late Claude Potvin. Devoted father to Mike (Diane). Adored grandfather to Michael. Loving brother to Yolande (the late Hervé) Séguin and Gaston. Dear brother-in-law to Joan (the late Don) Schultz. He will also be missed by many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by his brother André (Nicole) and his sister-in-law Vera Bellfoy. The family would like to thank Dr. Dave Schneiderman and Dr. Peter Lawlor for their care and compassion. A very special thank you to an extraordinary man Mr. Denis Sauvé R.N. of Bruyere Hospital.
