Une grand-m'ere, c'est habituellement une source de réconfort, mais toi chère grand-mère, tu nous as toujours donné beaucoup plus.

Merci d'avoir remplie nos vies d'amours et d'avoir contribuer à nous trasmettre certaines valeurs de la vie.  Nous avons été chanceux d'avoir une grand-mère comme toi, qui nous a toujours ouvert tout grand les bras pour nous accueillir.  

Nous n'oublierons jamais ta voix d'ange, ton grand sourire radieux et rayonnant ainsi que l'amour dont tu nous as toujours donné inconditionnellement.  Maintenant, chacun de nos souvenirs seront, à jamais, gravés dans nos coeurs.

Je suis aussi persuadée que tu continueras à rayonner, là-haut, avec ton magnifique sourire et qu'à l'avenir chaque parcelle de soleil pourra nous le rappeler.

Je t'aime, nous t'aimons et surtout nous nous ennuierons terriblement.

Repose en paix grand-mère, tu l'as bien mérité.

Mom, vous entreprenez maintenant un nouveau voyage; un voyage que vous avez si bien mérité.  

On dit que la vie est un éternel recommencement : Mom, vous avez maintenant la chance de profiter d’une autre vie parmi mes frères, votre mari, vos frères et vos parents, sans mal ni misère, sans peine et sans injustice.   Profitez de votre voyage là ou l’amour et la paix règnent,  ou tout vos rêves deviendront votre réalité et ou les anges chantent en louange (et nous savons que vous chanterez parmi eux puisque vous avez la plus belle des voix que nous avons jamais eu la chance d’entendre chanter, même lors de vos derniers jours, vous avez continuez à partagez avec nous vos belles petites chansons, si douces et si belles à l’oreille).  

Mom, tant de possibilités et de nouvelles aventures vous attendent; ouvrez vos ailes d’ange et volez à votre nouveau ciel, vous l’avez finalement gagnez!

Dear family and friends,

We are here today to celebrate the new life that Mom-Rollande has undertaken beside her beloved late husband Roy, sons Michel, & Denis, brothers Aime & Jacques, and her parents Yvonne and Rolland.

"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal"

This day has fallen upon us to share the tremendous joy Rollande brought to each, regardless the title she held, Mom, sister, grand-mere, friend, she held with pride.  Allow me to turn back time for a few minutes, they say a picture is worth a thousand words, therefore I would kindly ask each one here today, to close your eyes for a few seconds and visualize a special moment you shared with this wonderful woman for which we will always love.

This moment is precious and we shall keep it in our memory bank until we see you again Mom that is in heaven.

Rollande we wish to thank you for the unconditional love you so graciously showered us throughout the years, putting aside all obstacles you personally had to guide us all through our own hurdles we faced in this none- perfect world and we know you shall continue to guide us from up above.  Mom, words cannot explain the gratitude for the great up-bringing we received, as we know we did contribute to your grey hair. I know you can hear me and we are proud of your accomplishments and especially the LOVE you gave us, and for that we cannot Thank you enough , you will always be in our hearts then, now and forever our angel of ours we call MOM, sister, grand-mere and friend.

Also special thanks goes to my eldest of sister Helene, in which we were bless to have you at her side.  As we all know of late the role was reversed, Rollande as a child and Helene as the mother , well my dear sister you gave a new meaning of the word Mother in our eyes, no question asked,  you deliver the upmost care anyone can give and no one could of done better or live up to what you so unconditionally provided to our mother, sister and friend, for that we shall be forever grateful.  I know for a fact that right now mom sends you kisses and a big hug. 

I also thank you all who were there for this angels of ours .

Mom as we all know you love hugs,  we are sending you a big group hug, as each will in turn give a hug to the person standing beside you and wish them a Happy New Year from Rollande!

À tous les ans tante Rollande nous faisait parvenir une carte de souhaits pour le temps des fêtes, cela va nous manquer.  Je garde de très bons souvenirs d’enfance de nos rassemblements familials lors de nos visites chez ma ‘matante’ Rollande, des fameux gâteaux qu’elle préparait pour célébrer les anniversaires et des journées que nous passions a Rockcliff Park à jouer ensemble pendant que les grands jouaient aux cartes.

J’espère que ces souvenirs vous apporterons réconfort en ces moments difficiles. Nos pensées sont avec vous.

Dearest Estelle and family...
Your Mom was a wonderful and generous woman, devoted to her family and the world is a sadder place without her.  I remember her fondly as she bounced Jordan on her bad leg over 30 years ago.  He saw her outstretched leg and thought it might be fun to ride it like a pony.  Nor will I forget the yummy candy apples every fall.  She is now pain free and at peace with those who have passed before her.  She will always be in my prayers.
