Left this life for the next on Saturday, April 23, 2011. He is survived by Gladys, his wife of 63 years and his nine children: Bonnie, Lynne, Dale, Zita, Lyle, Kim, Gregg, Shawn, Laura and their families, including nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A prairie farmer from the start. His time on earth is done, but he leaves his gentle spirit firmly in our hearts. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
