It is with sorrow that the family of Mrs. Rose Lagassé-Philippe announces her passing on June 2, 2017 at the age of 58. She was beloved wife of Jean-Marie Philippe. Dear daughter of the late Albert Lagassé and the late Yolande Demers. She leaves in sorrow her children: Gilles Mallette and Albert Mallette. Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth, Joelle, Brianna, Lucas and Leah. She will be dearly missed by her siblings: François (Murielle), Pierre, Lucille Laverdure, Louise Arthur, Yvonne Séguin and Nicole Bergeron (Tom) as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Bernard. The family would like to thank everyone that knew her and that were present in her life. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 16th, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Notre-Dame Cemetery, 455 Montreal Road, Ottawa. The family invites relatives and friends for a celebration of life in Rose’s honor on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health, 299 Montreal Road, Ottawa.
