Dear Aunt Grace, Judy, Jeff and Family,
We are so deeply saddened for your loss and offer our sincere condolences. Uncle Rudy's calm and gracious demeanor, clever wit and playful sense of humour was so endearing to me and our family. Both Niko and Marco still chuckle about Uncle Rudy's earnest offer of a meal of monkey stew during our last visit to your home in Barbados. We also admired his deep and abiding faith in God and know that he is now at peace in the loving embrace of his Saviour. We pray for your comfort and peace and hope that Uncle Rudy's spirit will be near to you always.

The Crichlow (Niles) Family would like to offer our sincerest condolences to Aunt Grace, Judy, and Jeff. Uncle Rudy was such a kind and loving spirit and truly made an impact on all those who lucky enough to have met him. I particularly remember the visits to Brockville on our way to Montreal and how I always looked forward to the treats that would be offered. Patrick, Robin, Alexsia, Cristopher, and I are saddened for this loss, but we know we will see him again.

France and I were so sad to hear the news of Rudy’s passing. We fell blessed to have known Rudy who shared his gardening secrets as well as his childhood memories of Barbados. He kept a straight face asking me if I ever ate his famous monkey stew.

Dear Rudy,

You will be dearly missed. I will miss the way you would sneak fruit from our kitchen. Yell at the monkeys and tend to your bountiful gardens. I will miss you, Rudy.
