Samira Beddawi

Samira fell asleep in the Lord and departed our temporal life in the hope of resurrection and life eternal. Surrounded by her loving family, she passed away at the age of 72, on Thursday July 13, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Bassam Dagher. Loving mother of Nina (Elie Fazaa), Fadi (Fadia), Nada (Fadi Abi-Khaled) and Faten (Georges Bechara). Adored grandmother of ten grandchildren. Devoted daughter of the late Hana and Miriam Beddawi. Dear sister of Bibe (Andre), Younan (Louise), Nadia (Salim), Samira (Samir), Ibrahim (Sue), Elias and Daniel (Marie).

Samira leaves behind a profound impact on those who have known her. She will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 10:00am at St. Charbel Parish, 245 Donald Street. The funeral will follow at 11:00am.Interment at Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank Street.

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at Saint-Vincent Hospital in Ottawa for their wonderful care. For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Charbel Church would be greatly appreciated.
