Peacefully, on Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Central West Hospice, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Holmes) and loving father of Carolyn (Brian Quinn). Predeceased by his sister Doris McKenzie and brother Charles Duncan. Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law Merle, Charlie, Ray, Donald, and Gerald Holmes; sister-in-law Betty Gorman; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Thursday, October 22 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. Funeral service on Friday, October 23 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Springhill Cemetery. In memoriam donations to the Cancer Research Society would be appreciated.
