1926 – 2012

Following a short illness, which she faced with her usual strong will and determination, Mom passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on August 21, 2012, to join her late husband Dmetro. Loving mother of Brian, Jan, Annalee and Sean (Danielle). Also survived by the grandchildren she loved so dearly, Sean (Kelly-Ann), Jay-T, Rikki (Brad), Kent, Tess, Reid, Paige and Kristian, and great grandchildren Jacob and Scout. Also survived by her brother George Todd (Judi). Heartfelt thank you to Mom’s Barrhaven Manor family for their years of love and care, particularly the comfort they provided to her and her family the last few weeks. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Monday, August 27 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service on Tuesday, August 28 at 10 am in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
