Survived by his loving wife Helen Finn (Nugent), and his children Anthony "Tony", Lawrence "Larry" (Deborah Andrews), Christopher “Chris” and Sarah. He was grandfather to Nicholas, Paris, Lyndsay, Sydney and David. Great-grandfather to Felix, Lucy, Kaelem, Evan, David, and Cameron. And extra treat provider to pets Guff and Darbie.
Also survived by sisters-in-law Geraldine Finn, Marie Nugent and Mary Schofield and brother-in-law Peter Nugent. Tom was predeceased by his parents Sarah and Edward and his siblings Edward, Mary Carter, William and Patricia MacDonald.
Born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, work took him to New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, California
and finally to Ottawa.
Tom's heart lay in his writing and art work. And, of course, in James Joyce.
But, his love lay in his family. He will be sorely missed.
Heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at The General, Bruyère and Civic Hospitals.

His final resting place will be at St. Isidore Parish Cemetery, South March.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to The Ottawa Hospital, Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
