Passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the Ottawa General Hospital at the age of 76 years. Uma was born in India. She is the beloved wife of Laxmi Gautam. Loving mother of Kamal (Mruna Shah) and Rosy (Robin Kholi). Adored grandmother of Nikhil and Sarina Kholi.
A Funeral Service will be held at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Saturday, October 2, 2021 with eulogies starting 11 am, and the Hindu Funeral Rite starting about 11:30 am. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, attendance will be limited to a total of 50 people and you are asked to call the funeral home at 613-737-7900 to schedule your attendance.
