Unexpectedly past away at St. Vincent`s Hospital, on Monday, July 21 2014 at the age of 69 years. Beloved wife of Assad Abdou. Loving mother of Mary (Sean Letto), Doery (Tracey), Rony and Ronda. Cherished Sito of Ethan, Evan, Emma and Avery. Dear sister of Nelly (Sam Zakaib), Victor (Hannan), Marguerite (Zakharia Zakharia) George (Zeina) and predeceased by Elie Nehme. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada and Lebanon. The family will receive friends and family at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Thursday, July 24, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Serviceon Friday July 25, 2014 at 10 am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive (at Ridgewood Ave). Interment Hope Cemetery.
