It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Wallis Dean Michael Jackson on Friday, November 20, 2015. He leaves his wife of 54 years Violet (nee Cameron); children Sherry (Tom), Wally (Leanne), Bonnie (Lou) and Jennifer; much loved grandchildren Tanya, Christopher, Alexandra, Ryan, Zoe, Madilynn, Rebecca, Andrew, Ella and Clara. Friends may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road on Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home. In memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Louise Coulombe and to the kind and caring staff at the Maycourt Hospice.
