After a rewarding life, Bill passed away on September 24, 2011, at the age of 64 years, knowing he was much loved by his family and friends. Loving husband of Linda Martin (nee Eady); father of William Francis Martin and Robert Desmond Martin; beloved son of Olive Martin; dear brother of Donna Bowie (Ron) and Deborah Leblanc (Mike). Bill was a giving and generous person who touched many lives in many positive ways and will always be remembered. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a service in the chapel at 11 a.m. For those wishing, a donation to the Ottawa Mission would be appreciated.
