William Warchow

Peacefully, at home, after a year-long battle with prostate cancer, at the age of 84. Bill was the beloved husband of Anne (nee Krul) and would have been married 60 years this October. Survived by his children Susan (Evan), Mike (Tanya), Diane (Rocco) and Lori (Bob). Proud GeeGee of 11 grandchildren, Ashley, William, David, Christopher, Craig, Natasha, Alisha, Andrew, Mary, Robert and Elaina. Great-grandfather of Cara. Dear brother of Peter (Kay), Eileen (Fred) and the late Nina. Uncle of many nieces and nephews, both in Canada and the U.S. Bill was a proud member of I.B.E.W. L.U. 586, even during his retirement. Friends and family may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road), on Tuesday, September 13th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday, September 14th from 9-11 am, followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 11:00 am.
