Avis Ann Lefaver

Avis Ann Lefaver, age 88 of Oxnard, CA entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 5, 2017. She was born June 28, 1928 in Crosby, ND. Avis was very active in the Retired Officer Wives Club for over 30 years, with her late husband, Ralph, a long time Oxnard Elk's Club member, continuously participated in the Club's many activities. Avis loved cooking, delicious food, new recipes, reading great novels and traveling throughout the world. Well known for her deep love of kitties, she collected over 100 figurines and framed pictures of playful cats.She leaves two sons, Scott, his wife Lizabeth; and Kerry and his wife Hsiu-Li as well as four grandchildren: Patrick, Vanessa, Veronica and Joseph.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00p.m. with Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Funeraria Del Angel Oxnard, 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd., Oxnard, CA 93033 (805)487-4911. Mrs. Lefaver will laid to rest next to her late husband Ralph on Thursday, May 18th at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
