While sleeping peacefully, surrounded by family, the Lord has called our mother, grandmother, and aunt home to be with her precious Viejo-Carmelo (Moe) Tepezano and all her loved ones who’ve went to heaven before her.
Mom was born on Rancho Sespe where she was raised by her parents Federico and Felicitas Gonzalez. During this time, she worked in Rancho Sespe’s Bungalow for Ms. Spalding.
Mom and dad were married before dad was shipped out for WWll in the early 1940’s. Together they raised two children, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Connie Tepezano is survived by two siblings, sister Rachel Hernandez and brother Rudy Gonzalez, Sr; her children, daughter Margie C. Deleon (husband James) and son Lawrence Tepezano, Sr (wife Carol); her grandchildren Larry Tepezano, Jr, Frances Tepezano, Christina Tepezano and Ashley Phelps; and her great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Jacob, Chloe, Haiylen, and Tommy. Mom was instrumental in the upbringing of Cynthia Contreras, George Gonzalez, and Rudy Gonzalez, Jr., all of whom also call her mom.
Mom loved the Lord and even though our hearts are broken, we know we will see her again in heaven.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 11 Timothy 4:7
