Donald James Young

November 1, 1970 – May 29, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of such an amazing man, Donald James Young, age 54, who departed this life on May 29, 2025.

Born on November 1, 1970, Donald lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew him. A Great Son, Brother, Friend, Community Member and most of all the Greatest Uncle ever, Donald will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty, his generous spirit, and his ability to bring warmth and comfort to those around him.

Throughout his life, Donald’s passion has been family. He was a steady presence — someone who could always be counted on. Whether offering a helping hand, a word of wisdom, or simply sharing a laugh, he made life better for those fortunate enough to share in his journey.

He is survived by mom, Nusipepa. Siblings: Jenny, Debbie, Lynda, Danny, Edith, Louisa and James. Nephews: Jimmy, James, Justin, Svondo, Khalil, James III, Keanu, David and Skyler. Great Nephew: Jamison, Dominic and Malakai. Nieces: Stevie, Rayna, Ashley, Chante, Chantel, Amanda, Eileen, Leilani and Presley. Great Nieces: Sariya and Malani. Brother-in-law: Freddie. Sister-in-laws: Cara, Cynthia and Mindy. God Brother: Dustin. God Sister: Tanya. God daughters: Alex and Samantha and his cat: baby, who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives with the same compassion, integrity, and strength he exemplified every day.

A celebration of life will be held on June 28th, 2025 at 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm, located at the VFW 300 S. Surfside Dr., Port Hueneme, CA 93041, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Donald’s life and the profound impact he had on so many.

Though he is no longer with us in body, Donald James Young’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. May he rest in peace.
