Earl Robert Shaw passed away peacefully at home with his beloved dog, Gigi, at his side on January, 26, 2016. He was a hard working man who successfully raised five children; Kevin, Kathy, Carrie, Kelly and Colleen. He will be remembered as a loving father, a devoted grandfather and a kind and generous man. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Painfully widowed twice, he maintained his sense of humor, pursued his love of travel an joyfully chatted with anyone until he went to Jesus. He and his family send a special shout out to Dr. Rajala, the staff at Assisted Home Hospice, Earl's nurse Sylvia and especially, Jose, his home health aid. Additional gratitude must go to Earl's daughter Kelly Barr and her daughter Rachel who provided excellent long term care.
A Memorial Mass in Celebration of Earl's life will be celebrated at 11:00a.m., Monday, February, 15th, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Oxnard.
