A lifelong Ventura County resident, Ida was born September 7, 1966 in Oxnard to Alfred and MaryLou Orosco.
Ida attended Channel Islands High School and then worked for the Ventura County Public Social Services Agency for 1 1/2 yrs and then she made her lifelong career with the State of California for 33 yrs. Agencies she worked for were the Employment Development Dept, State Compensation Insurance Fund, California Conservation Corps and finally the Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board in which she then retired from in December of 2021.
Ida very much enjoyed reading, especially her favorite author, James Patterson. She loved listening to Christian music along with a variety of other types of music. Some of her favorite TV shows were of course, "I Love Lucy," "Friends," "The Big Bang Theory," her favorite being Sheldon Cooper, and childhood shows like "Little House on the Prairie" and "The Waltons." Ida ALWAYS tried new and different types of food wherever she ate because she was a "Foodie."
She will be missed dearly by ALL who knew and loved her but her older big sister Barbara will miss her every single day because in her eyes she considered her, her "so-called" twin.
Ida leaves behind her sister Barbara, brother Arnold and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Alfred Sr, her Mother, MaryLou and her Brother, Alfred Jr.
Her sister wish to give a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Los Robles Hospital, Dr. Singh, Dr. Fang and Dr. Bell.
