

Jean Maxine Boston was born on her parents’ dairy farm on Oct. 25, 1915 in Lincoln County, Mo. Her family later moved to Guernsey, Wyo. She graduated from Guernsey High School in 1933 and played on the Championship Girls Basketball team. Following high school, Jean attended nursing school. She met her husband, George England, at a dance in Wheatland, Wyo. in 1934 and they married in Las Vegas on Aug. 24, 1935. George and Jean later relocated to California where they would raise their two sons. Jean was a housewife and worked in a dentist’s office in the 1950s.
Jean was active in many social activities including the Woodland Hills Women’s Club. As a hobby, Jean enjoyed china painting and painted beautiful pieces for her friends and family. During retirement, Jean and George enjoyed traveling, including trips to the Philippines, India, Nepal, the ALCAN Highway across Alaska and Canada, and throughout the U.S. in their RV. Jean was a loving woman who cared for the wellbeing of many people in her life. Jean’s faith and her Heavenly Father were always most important to her.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents, John and Clara Boston, husband George, son Robert England, sisters Pearl and Jo, daughter-in-law Kathy, and great-grandsons Christopher, Sean and Kyle. Jean is survived by her son Gerald, her grandchildren John England (need wife), Pamela Rupert (Joe), Alan England (Lisa), Shaun England (Valerie), Kevin England (Jennifer), Kristen Davis (Bert), Daniel England and Maria England, great-grandchildren Shauna and Nathan, Bradley, Jennifer, Kenny, Cayla, Liz, Miles, Sam, Hannah, John’s son, Tyler, Lauren, Ashlyn, Dylan, Michael and Jackson, great-great grandchildren Hudson, Amelia, Austin and Corbin, and nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
