Jennifer was born to Danilo and Jessie Maya on January 4, 1978 in the Philippines. She moved to the United States at 11 months old and was raised with her four siblings in Oxnard, CA. After graduating from Oxnard High School and the University of Phoenix with a B.S. in Business, she went on to work as a Benefits Specialist at Pleasant Valley School District where she made a positive difference in many lives.
Jennifer lived life to the fullest and was a shining light to everyone that was lucky enough to cross paths with her. Her fun personality and laugh was contagious and she immediately lit up any room she entered. She also had the unique ability to personally connect with each individual she met. She was kind, generous and compassionate, and fiercely loved her friends and family.
While Jennifer had many hobbies, including binging Hallmark movies, hosting family game nights, serving as fantasy football commissioner, and being a LuLaRoe fashion consultant, her true passion was spending time with her family, whom she loved more than anything in this world. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, loyalty and a strength that will never be forgotten.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Bryan Alexander; and her three children, Joylynn (18), Bayley (10) and Braydan (7). She is also survived by her parents, Danilo and Jessie; her sisters Joyce and Jaclyn; her brothers Dennis and Dan; along with her many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
