Dear Mary,
I know that words are inadequate at a time like this but I wanted you to know how very sorry I am for your loss. I can only imagine the pain and suffering you are experiencing.
It is times like this that our faith is put to the test. As sad as it will be, please find comfort in knowing that we will always have the memory of him to hold in our hearts. I will miss seeing him playing cards with the fellas and his jokes. He always made me laugh.
The Bible reminds us that "Blessed are those that mourn for they shall be comforted." I pray that this will be especially true for you as you mourn your loss.
I pray that God will give you the strength to see you through this sad and difficult time. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and family.

Joe you are a angel up in heaven looking down on us. There are no words to express how much your going to be missed. You always made me laugh when I was around. My LOVE, My Snugglers :)   I will truly miss you.Ill remember FOREVER just as you wanted.<3 .....I loved you "unconditionally" and I will continue to love you.  They say people cross each others paths for a reason, and now I see and know what our reason was.  I am honored to have been able to be that person in your last years to show and give you love and peace that you so dearly asked God for.  You were "way to spoiled", but I'd do it all over again.. I LOVED YOUR HEART!!!!!  And will continue to do so. FOREVER IN MY HEART, YOUR WIFE, MARY GARCIA, FOREVER!

I met Joe and Mary as a volunteer  a few times in the ER at St John's Hospital. Without hesitation he welcomed me with a sincere smile and a heart felt greeting. Dispite what he was going through he made me feel welcome. I could feel the warmth in his heart and I was looking forward to seeing him in church and around town. He truly made me feel like a friend. He was a good man. Mary I marvel how you were always there for him. I know he felt and appreciated your love. I am truly sorry for your loss. May God bless you and hold you in His arms. May He fill you with the peace and comfort of his Holy Spirit, in Jesus name, Amen.
