First and Foremost, My condolences to the Garcia Family.

"Yo, it is a true honor to call you My Amigo, My Brother, My Family".

I was welcomed into your family with open arms as it will always remain a true part of my life today and beyond.

I will always remember our good times in San Diego, weekends at Point Mugu, traveling to Mexico, music, caddying in the Ventura County Championship, good times with your brothers playing golf and relaxing watching Tiger.

I will never forget you my friend and I will always take with me how much love you had for your children and your family as my heart goes out to all of you.

Rest in Peace Yo, till I see you again.

Your bro,

AKA "Rolandaaa"

First most my condolences go to the Garcia Family in this time of passing.

Yo Jayy.. I'm going to miss you so much, you are a big part of my heart, you showed me that integrity is nothing to compete for.. but to establish.. in all challenges. I will always keep in my heart the great times we shared. Making beats with you was incredible.. staying up till 6am to finish music tracks so artists can get there beats on time.. going to Los in tha Elco was always tight.. I still remember that Ice Cube concert we went to, and met Too Short and he complimented you on tha Elco.. Yo Jayy you will be missed but never ever forgotten.. I love you just like family.. till we cross again my brother, rest in paradise..

I honestly believe Johann was an angel sent to us to unite everyone he knew. Johann was friends with everybody. Literally everybody from Colonia to Silverstrand, Southside to El Rio, from surfers to rappers to golfers to gangsters. Johann loved all his friends equally, never judged anyone for things they did to survive and was always enthusiastic about any music-related project you were working on. I learned everything I know about making music and DJing from Johann. I watched him go through hard times with his Pop and nobody meant more to him than his parents, then his kids. The man was so full of love and all he did was bring people together. I met so many people from Oxnard I may have never known had it not been for him. Johann was the pride of Oxnard. He was our king of hip hop and everyone wanted him to be part of their music. Just 3 weeks ago we started talking about new music and he was excited. Johann will always occupy a space in my heart. He taught me how to listen to music and what made it great. He will forever be a part of me. Thank you, Yo-J for taking us under your wing way back in 1988 and teaching us everything and then pushing us to do it ourselves and not be dependent on you. You believed in my ability and let me go off on my own. It was tough love. That's a true friend who believes in you like that. I will never forget countless hours on H St. making beats and you threatening to get Cleo to run me out of the house. "JAM THEN!" You were there for our shows/riots at Mogz and Ventura Theater filming or live scratching on stage. Things never changed between us, just more time passed between shows. Now I know that you got Biggie, Pac, Pun, and DMX lined up in Heaven. That's going to be the best rap album ever. See you at Tha Crossroads, Mixmasta. You always be my brother. I love you Yo-J. Always. MiC-T
