With great sorrow, after a long illness Julie passed away at home with her husband of forty years by her side. Julie was born in Waupun, Wis., on September 6, 1954. Moved to California in 1973, married Richard Smith in Las Vegas in 1980. She worked at numerous places through the years including: EI Rio school district, Volt temp agency, and she was with BMW of North America for sixteen years.
Julie loved her puzzles, her knowledge of computers, reading, her pets and her family trips.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; her sons, Richard L. and Daniel R.; mother, Shirley Pluim; mother-in-law, Shirley Whooley; sisters, Peggy and Sue; brothers, Tom and David; numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and six grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to a favorite charity of your choice in Julie's name. There will be a private service in Wisconsin at a later time. There will be no services in California however there will be an online guest book at www.funerariadelangeloxnard.com.
