1926-2017
Leroy was a resident of Port Hueneme for 40 years. He was in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1965 serving on various ships. He worked at NSWC PHD TALOS division for over 20 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was proceeded in death by his wife of 50 years, Betty Jean Melton and his son, Loren E. Melton. He is survived by his daughters, Wendy Lee Wolfe and Tammi Sue Erickson. He will also be remembered by his 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was the soul of our family and will be truly missed.
Visitation with viewing at Funeraria del Angel Oxnard, on Monday, April 17 from 5pm to 9pm. Burial will be at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo on Tuesday, April 18, at 10am.
