I miss my brother. I loved him dearly, and knew he would be there for me every day of my life.  Sadly we lived so far apart most of our lives, We Had to settle on telephones.  I will miss you until we meet again in Heaven. Love you, Sammy.

Uncle Nick and Aunt Betty took me in when I needed a place to stay...they not only opened up their home but their hearts...even tho over the years we haven't kept in touch enough you both are always in my thoughts and prayers. Uncle Nick will be greatly missed by family and friends..

Betty, I learned of Nick's memorial this morning, but am unable to attend.  I valued Lyle as a friend and thinker, who loved God.  He challenged others so they would challenge him.  The world needs such people.  My prayers are with you today, and in the future.  I'll be in touch soon.

Nick, you and your family had a profound influence on me in the formidable years of my youth. Thank you, I will forever be grateful for the time we were in each others lives. Godspeed to your family. Love Bill
