

The world was blessed August 25, 1961 with the birth of Mane Tuia’ana Jr. Mane was born in San Diego, California to his loving parents Mane and Fulisia Tuia’ana. At the age of two, Mane Jr and his family relocated to Oxnard, CA. Oxnard was his home for the next 52 years. Mane is one of 19 children. He was known to many as Mane, Manny, Junior, Mr. Hollywood, Bishop, and to his family, he was known as “Bootz”.
October 3, 2015 Mane was involved in a motorcycle accident and left us here on Earth to join his parents Mane Tuia’ana and Fulisia Tuia’ana-Valoaga at our Heavenly Fathers gate. He was also welcomed with open arms by his brothers Iefata Tuia’ana (wife Fa’amamata) of Seattle and Asora Tuia’ana (wife Sorepa) of Oklahoma City.
Mane is survived by his wife Leta Meyer-Tuia’ana, his daughter Mele’ane Tuia’ana and his grandson Isaia King Tuia’ana-Urquidez all of Oxnard. Mane will also be deeply missed by his sisters Epenesa Alefaio (husband Iafeta) of Victorville, Carrie Vaeena (husband Ionataga) of Seattle, Ailafo Tuia’ana (wife Di) of Las Vegas, Edna Jorgensen (husband Mark) of Oxnard, brother William Tuia’ana of Las Vegas, sister Mele’ane Tuia’ana (husband Roger) of Las Vegas, George Tuia’ana (wife Brandy) of Las Vegas, Judy Patu (husband Les) of Oxnard, Jerry Valoaga of Las Vegas, Larry Valoaga of Las Vegas, Elaine Valoaga of Las Vegas, Jeremiah Valoaga (wife Celina) of Oxnard, Mau Valoaga (fiancé Malia) of Oxnard, Jeffrey Valoaga (wife Char) of Oxnard, Christmas Valoaga (wife Michele) of Las Vegas, and Matthew Valoaga of Oxnard. He was a proud uncle and great uncle to over 50 immediate nieces and nephews.
Mane loved cooking at home so it was no surprise that he took employment creating culinary masterpieces as a Chef for the past six years. When he wasn’t working Mane loved spending time with his family and friends, creating his garden, and going on long rides on his motorcycle with his wife. As animal lovers, he and his wife Leta made homes for all their babies which included all their cats, turtles, and ferrets.
Mane was loved by everyone he came across, and will forever be known and remembered as the gentle giant that loved his family and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
