Miguel Vergel

Oxnard, CA

Miguel De Leon Vergel was born on December 29, 1917 in San Rafael Bulacan, Philippines to Arsenio and Carmen Vergel.

Miguel was a resident of Oxnard, CA for 41 years at the time of his passing. He spent most of his time in the United States taking care of his grandchildren.

At the age of 100, Miguel passed away in St. John's Hospital on February 18, 2018 and was welcomed to the gates of heaven by his wife, parents, son, Arthuro, brother and sister.

Miguel is survived by his children; Edmundo wife Teofila, Vergilio wife Ligaya, Bella, Linda, Reynaldo wife Nori, Evelyn husband Rodolfo, Edna husband Geri and Guadalupe. He will be deeply missed by his brother Esmeraldo and grandchildren and great - great grandchildren.

Vigil will be held Feb. 26, (4-9p.m.) and Feb. 27, (1 - 9p.m.) at Funeraria Del Angel Oxnard, 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd Oxnard Ca. 93033. Rosary on February 27, 2018 7p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on February 28, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Santa Clara Catholic Church 323 S. E. Street, Oxnard, CA.

Miguel will be laid to rest at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery.
