Rudy was a member of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) Local 46 in Port Hueneme. He was elected President from 1988-1993. He also served as Vice President and Caucus Delegate. He retired in 2010 after 45 years on the
docks. In retirement, he enjoyed his family and grandchildren. Rudy in life taught his children to be fair and to always own up to your mistakes.
Rudy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dolores, his three sons Anthony, Armando, Alex, two daughters Anglique, Adrianna, and four grandchildren Delilah, Manny, Katarina and Ella. Services will be held at Funeraria Del Angel in Oxnard, CA on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 10AM, burial at 1PM at Ivy Lawn Cemetery.
