Sergio,

Thank you for your friendship. You were a great friend. Sergio and I grew up together and went to school together. May God comfort your family.

Sergio you set the example on how to be a Good Man, Husband, Father, Son, Brother and Friend. You knew how to break the ice with people with a timely joke. A very Generous man who LOVED his FAMILY and LOVED his work in Law Enforcement. Sergio you showed us what true unconditional love is. You will be with us forever in spirit and we will do our keep your legacy your going as long as we live. Till we meet again. LOVE YOU!!!

Momentos maravillosos pasamos tu y yo. Recuerdo el dia en que nos conocimos y nos enamoramos, las cartas en español que me tenias que escribir para que yo pudiera entenderlas ya que para ti era dificil expresarte en este idioma. Pero mira que bien lo aprendistes que tu último trabajo fue en Metlang como interpreter. Tu amor a nosotros  fue incondicional, tu familia tu prioridad, siempre deceando darnos lo mejor. Fuistes un esposo, padre, hijo, hermano y amigo ejemplar. Gracias por haberme escogido para ser tu esposa, compañera y madre de nuestros hijos. 21 años Dios me permitio tenerte a mi lado, siempre te voy a tener en mi mente y corazon por el resto de mi vida porque una parte de ti sigue viviendo en cada uno de nuestros hijos. Cuando me sienta triste me refugiare en ellos para sentirte cercas. Te amare por siempre, tu esposa.

We spend some marvelous times together. I remember the first time we met and we fell inlove. You would write me letters in spanish in order for me to understand what you were saying and it was hard for you to express yourself in that language. But look at how well you learned to translate from english to spanish that you even landed a job as an interpreter at Metlang. You always showed us, your family, unconditional love. Your family was your first priority, and you wanted the absolute best for us. You were an amazing husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Thank you for picking me to be your wife, life-long partner, and mother of our kids. God permitted me to have you for 21 years right by my side. I will always have you in my mind and heart for the rest of my life because a part of you will forever live on inside of each of our kids. Whenever I feel sad, I will look at our kids to feel close to you. I will love you forever.

My dad was the best dad I could've ever imagined. One reason why is because he would always be there for me. He would go to almost every game/meet I had so far. It didn't really matter to him that much if I was winning or losing, he would always cheer for me, no matter what. And I'm pretty sure that's not going to change while he is in heaven. I just want to thank him for the stuff he's done for our family. He would always try to do stuff with us, when he has the time, like going out for dinner or going to the mall and stuff like that. Another thing I want to thank him for is the stuff he provides us like food, water, shelter, toys, clothes, devices, and most importantly, love. I also want to thank him for letting us keeping the turtles that he found while he was on a walk. Even though I loved him so, so, much there is just one thing I didn't get to tell him. I didn't get to tell him how much I loved him and that I will try my hardest in everything I do. The reason I didn't get to tell him this is because I thought I would have plenty of time to tell him this is because I thought I would have plenty of time to tell him. Even though he might not actually be here, he will always be with us in spirit.

I love my father and I will always love my father no matter what. He was protective, and he loved his family with all of his heart. I'm sorry for anything I might've done to disappoint you Daddy and for anything I've hid from you. I also forgive you for anything you hold yourself accountable for. You shouldn't have to carry that guilt. My father was someone I looked up to as he did whatever he could to help us succeed in life and to protect us. I'll never forget his See's Candies lollipops, his daily snack of milk and cookies after every meal, his hugs that made you feel safe, his loud sneezes and belches, his infectious laughter, his jokes, his brave and comedic personality, and every moment we spent together. I would do anything to bring him back, but I would never wish for him to suffer another day. Dad, you are my hero and the best father I could've asked for. No one can replace you. Thank you for everything you've given us, and I know that you will continue to protect us in heaven. I'm sorry for never telling you all this sooner, but never doubt that I love you. I miss you everyday and I'm sorry that you were taken away from us so soon, but never feel guilty as we will be okay. I hope I can make you as proud as you've made me. I hope you like this, Daddy. I am sad he passed away. I had so much fun with him. He even got me my first hatchimal. I was so happy, even though it was the wrong one. I wanted the hatchimal so much when it came out, so this meant so much to me. Now that you have passed away you can not get me another one, but it is okay. I hope you can hear us from heaven because that would mean so much to me and I worked so hard to write this. We love you so much. I liked when you would take us out to eat, helped me with my homework, and gave me presents. Now I have a new guardian angel that will always be protecting me. I love you daddy.

My dad was a strong, courageous man that battled cancer for several months. I had always heard story of other individuals whose life had been affected by cancer; however, I never thought in my wildest dreams that it would be something that would occur within my immediate family. Even though my dad had become weak and was not capable of fighting the disease any longer, I will always view him as the strongest individual that walked in this earth. Apart from this, my dad was honestly the most hardworking and devoted person I had ever met. I am so proud of him and everything he got to accomplish within his life. He did everything he could to give his family the best and I will always remember the wonderful memories we shared as a family, such as when we spent holidays and vacations together. My dad was also an overprotective father, mostly towards me since I am his first born and the oldest. Therefore, I am the one that has to set the example for my siblings, so my dad made sure I grew up to be an intelligent and responsible individual just like him. I just hope one day I can make my dad as proud as he has made me. It is sad to know my dad is gone, but I know my dad is now resting in heaven not feeling any pain. And even though my dad is not physically here anymore, he will always be with us in spirit and in our hearts. I love you Dad always and forever.

Sergio te fuistes.
te extrañaremos tu familia y amistades. En ocasiones especiales extrañaremos aún más tu presencia ya no estará el Sergio que con sus bromas nos sacaba una sonrisa. Eras un buen amigo y no te digo hasta nunca, te diré nos veremos un día en el cielo.

I have been reflecting a lot on the memories I have of you, Sergio. You were always so genuine, hilarious, and lovable. I had the privilege of calling you a friend, and my heart aches because of your absence. Your carefree attitude and fondness for life will always remain clear in my mind. You lived life on your own terms, which is something most people will never have the courage to do. Thank you for all the laughs and great memories over the years. I know we will see each other again someday, but until then, Rest In Peace, my sweet friend. 

I extend my sincerest condolences to your beautiful wife, wonderful children, and the entire Ornelas family. I hope your hearts find comfort in knowing that you are not alone, and that his memory will always live on in the hearts of many. 

Sergio now that you are gone you can see all the impact that you have made in this world. So many people love and will miss you. Thank you for everything,I will always be thankful for all you have done for my family. For the time you where here, thank you for being part of my family and for making my sister the happiest women in the world, along side all your kids. Thank you for everything.

My sincerest condolences to the Ornelas Family. Sergio will be missed by many. I had the pleasure of working with Sergio and can say he was a good man who loved his family very much. Sergio, I will miss your rambunctious, contagious laugh and your appetite for life.

Sergio was a caring, generous man. Always laughing and smiling. He and My Nina Miriam took me and my mom in as family I'll always remember all of the holidays we spent with the Ornelas family. I'll have fond memories of him recording everyone open their Christmas presents making jokes. Although he will be missed, Heaven just gained another angel, and may he Rest In Peace.

Sergio was a great man, and his love for his family was beyond explainable. I had the pleasure of meeting him and interacting with him nearly on a daily basis. I will never forget you Sergio and the great moments we spent together. Thank you for always being an amazing father, person and cop.

Sergio was close, we used to talk about football a lot, i told him i was going D1 this for him, you'll always be remembered
