Funeraria del Angel Oxnard

Timothy John Guerrero

May 7, 1967 - March 22, 2026

Timothy (Tim, Timmy) Guerrero, Age 58, passed away on March 22, 2026. He was born in Oxnard, California to Ben Guerrero (deceased) and Frances Guerrero. He graduated from Channel Islands High School in 1985. He called West Texas (San Angelo) home for 30 years. He returned to Oxnard 7 years ago to be here for his mom, a role he stepped into with great honor and love.

Tim was A General Manager for La Quinta Inn and Suites for 25 years. In his time there he not only managed properties in Texas and Oklahoma but he also fostered meaningful friendships and community with his employees and guests. Tim was a man who didn’t judge, he accepted people as there were and embraced life and all its many opportunities. This led Tim to have a plethora of incredible tales, filled with unforgettable characters and circumstances that could have made him a New York Times bestseller.

Tim lived life big, boisterously, and over the top. The La Quinta’s annual Manager’s Conference fed his hunger for travel. He took any opportunity to explore as much of this world that he could. To feel the culture, the people and of course the food. No matter what wild ride life took him on, Tim kept his family, friends and community a top priority. As big as Tim lived, he gave just the same. He was never one to show up to a party empty handed. Even when living over 1,000 miles he showed up for the people he loved and never missed a big life event. He was proud to be Riley's Nino and made a purposeful effort to truly know her, to be there for her, and to love her well.

He left us all with the mission to live a full life out loud.

Tim will always be remembered for his generosity, his unique and spirited personality, and his kindhearted spirit. "Forever in our Hearts"
