Viola A. Watkins

Viola A. Watkins, 82, of Port Hueneme, California entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. She was born June 20, 1932 in Oxnard, California. Viola had been a life long Ventura County resident making her family the focus of her life. She was a devoted wife,mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and loved to travel with the love of her life Raul Sanchez.

God saw you getting tired

And a cure was not to be.

So He put His arms around you

And whispered, "Come with Me."

With tearful eyes

We watched you suffer

And saw you fade away.

Although we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

Gentle hands at rest.

God broke our hearts to prove

He only takes the best.

Viola is survived by Howard and wife Cathy Watkins, Donald and wife Kat Watkins, Daughter-In-Law Mary Watkins, Brothers; Frank and wife Bela Grajeda, George and wife Rose Grajeda, Ronnie and wife Lynn Grajeda., Sisters; Bernice-Merrill, Linda and husband Mike Alford., Extended family, Sons, Mark and wife Patty Sanchez, Paul Sanchez, Kirk and wife Lisa Sanchez., Daughter; Noel and husband Mike Adams., 16 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews.
