So sorry to hear of her passing. I so enjoyed visiting with her at all the Appaloosa shows and at their ranch. She made the BEST tacos ever. Photo of her and Dan with my parents and Bold Bonanza whom Danny showed in reining and cow horse events.

Aunt Virginia you were the best aunt ever, i will never forget you, your smile was very special & I always knew that I could talk to you about anything without juding me. Now you are an Angel in Heaven with all of your family & friends who are also in Heaven. God Bless you & rest in peace! I love you & I will carry you in my heart.

Our girls still remember Virginia from their 4-H days and how patiently and sweetly she guided them about the care and grooming of their horses. Good memories remain. God bless and keep you, Virginia. Love to Dan as well. The Vize family, Jim, Barbara, Sarah (Vize) Nerhus, Suzanne (Vize) Rodriguez and Juliann (Vize) Moody.

Godspeed beautiful lady both inside and out. It was a pleasure knowing you.

Virginia was the rock who supported Dan and all of his nervous amateur riders.Don't think Betty would have ever been properly dressed and calm enough to show without her! We saw the lovelight in Dan's eyes whenever they were together and we know that light will always be there. With all our love, Paul & Betty

Virginia you were extraordinary wife, mother and grandmother. Your life of service, love, compassion and excellence will be missed.
I was blessed by your acquaintance. You instantly made me feel like a part of the family, you loved everything about life. When you spoke of your family you had such a sparkle in your eye. You spoke so fondly of everyone and everything precious to you, your life, your children/grandchildren, and your Husband which you adored and your eyes sparkled with love when you spoke of them.
Virginia you were an inspiration to me, you are one of a kind I have never met anyone with so much love for everyone and everything. You shared stories of your past and present that I will cherish forever, we laughed and cried from laughing so hard together. I thank you for every moment. Speaking with you I felt I knew you a lifetime.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity of getting to know you, by any means this is not goodbye.
You will forever be in my heart.

Virginia was an angel on earth. My first race ever Virginia braided my hair and sent me off. when I came back with a tenth place ribbon, she smiled at me and told me I did good. Her smile always made me happy. I will miss her happy face. Deepest condolences to Danny & the whole Lopez Family.

We will always remember the times we shared and the love you gave so freely. You always made each and every one of us feel special. Our children have been blessed to have you and our father in their lives. We will miss our sweet Virginia.❤

The first time I met Virginia I was at my first horse show. When she spotted me I was pacing nervously near the back barns at the Kern County fairgrounds. I was tied in knots wondering what made me think I was ready to show a horse, this was my first year riding! She would look at me and smile like she knew something I didn't. She eventually called me over and asked if I could hold some bright red yarn she was braiding into a horses mane for an upcoming hunt seat class for a client. I agreed to help with the yarn. She then asked if I'd like to learn how to braid a mane as she had her own special way of doing things. Her smile was contagious. She instantly felt like an old friend. I spent more than hour talking to her that day and she assured me that I would do just fine in my upcoming western pleasure classes. I absolutely believed in what she'd told me. When my class entered the arena Virginia and Dan stood by the rail cheering me on. By the time the dust settled that day; everything Virginia had predicted happened. I came away from that show with 2 blue ribbons and a couple of wonderful new (old) friends. Many years have passed since that day and I feel like I've been gifted by God for our friendship.
I've never seen a couple like Dan & Virginia work so well together; that's what great love can do. I shall miss Virginia very much, but am at peace knowing that she is 'free' of her afflictions and has journeyed to her heavenly home. Until we meet again. Love always my wonderful friend.

condolences to the lopez family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Virginia is in Gods infinite hands, she is at peace.God bless and comfort you. Robert and Arlene Parker and family

In this lifetime some of us are fortunate enough to meet that one person who is our true love, true partner, and our true soulmate. I was Lucky enough to witness this beautiful union of Dan and Virginia . They worked together, played with one another, and they deeply loved each other . After 40 years of marriage I could see the love in each other's eyes that they still held. Most of us just don't get that beautiful experience in our lives. I am so sad for Dan and for Virgina and that they will miss one another until they are reunited again. Dear Virginia we will look after Dan until he can be with you. My deepest sympathy....

Dearest Virginia,

On the wings of Angels, you left us all behind
To make your way to Heaven - Your place with God to Find.
You left us all with memories of your good and special life
That our hearts will keep forever - So this is not goodbye.

Treasured moments remembered, are your lasting legacy
Bringing comfort to all who loved you - Most of all your family
So much of you stayed with us - And we will remember you each day
Until the day we meet again - Heaven's not that far away.

......Godspeed my Dear and Precious Friend. Love - Andria

Mom, you are and will always be missed. Even though I was away most of the time, you were always there for me no matter what was transpiring in my life. You always listened and gave me advice and confidence in whatever decisions I had to make...and....I'll always remember the many times we'd talk and laugh about the sometimes tough and silly times in our lives. Mom, I know you're now with "Him" and I know we will one day be together again. Your daughter,

Virginia I was so blessed to be friends with you and Dan and to witness the love you two had for each other.
You are missed everyday. Till we meet again my sweet friend.
