Mrs. Betty Jo Turcotte, a resident of Ozark, AL had her home going, Saturday, January 22, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2011, from Glory To Him Church with Bishop Scott Hannen and Rev. John D. Reese officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens under the direction of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening, January 25, 2011, from 6 until 8 p.m. Flowers will accepted or memorials may be made to Glory To Him Church ,6193 Andrews Avenue, Ozark, Alabama, 36360, in her memory . Mrs. Turcotte, the daughter of the late Council James and Beatrice Lucille Scott Green, was born September 1, 1931 in Florida. She was a homemaker and she and her late husband Lou Turcotte were founding members of Glory to Him Fellowship Church in Ozark, Alabama. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Edna McGowan, and her brother-in-law, Lonzie Whitfield. Mrs. Turcotte is survived by her daughter, Susan Turcotte of Ozark; sisters, Kathryn Barfield (Monk) of Grand Ridge, FL, Dorothy Whitfield of Blountstown, FL, and Merle Cissell (Charles) of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Herman Green (Donna) of Grand-ridge, FL, Glen Green (Linda) of Jacksonville, FL, and Kenneth Green (Maria) of Ocala, FL; sister-in-law, Janet Robert (Don) of Atlanta, GA; and brothers-in-law, Richard Turcotte (Yann) of California and Robert Turcotte (Elaine) of South Carolina.
