

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 14, 2013, in the chapel at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Elder Clayton Nowell officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Banston Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until time of service on Saturday.

Amy was born in Grundorf, Hungary on July 4, 1939, to Josef and Maria Schlagmuller Schuck. She married her husband, Jerry on December 5, 1969, in Wertheim, Germany. Amy always had a special place in her heart for children and seniors. She especially enjoyed celebrating special occasions with her family and friends.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Julius Schuck and her sister, Teresia Glasscock.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 44 years, Jerry D. Leyva; her sisters, Maria (Helmut) Kuhlinger, Martha (Hugar) Segler, Cornelia Schuck all of Germany, Anna Newton of Magnolia, AR., Ilona Minks of Breakenridge, TX., Elizabeth (Michael) Hubbard of Raeford, NC., Lianie Furbert of San Francisco, CA.; her brothers, Josef Schuck, Johann Schuck, Anton (Bernhidle) Schuck, Edward Schuck, all of Germany, and Alfred (Lenie) Schuck of the Netherlands; her brother-in-law, Jack Glasscock of Little Rock AR; also surviving is a special nephew, Eddie Schuck of Germany and other numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Norman, Dann, Denny, Taylor and Dalton Childs, and Bud Brewer.
