Evelyn Fay Pennington Johnson

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memory Garden with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00am until the time of service on Friday. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimers Foundation.

Mrs. Johnson was born February 20, 1931 in Lamar County, Alabama to Ermine Lester and Cora Lee Pennington. She was a member of the Ozark Book Club, Order of Eastern Star and R.S.V.P. (Retired Senior Volunteer Program).

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, R.B. Johnson.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry Dwight Johnson, James Terry Johnson and Mark Alan Johnson; her sisters, Gail Weeks and Ellen Rogers; her brother, Jay Lee Pennington; also surviving are her grandchildren, Jerry Chad Johnson, Jeremy Richard Johnson, Mark Adam Johnson, Monica Fay Johnson and Alecia Marie Johnson; and one great-granddaughter, Renee Ann Johnson.
