

Juanita Edge Hart of Ozark passed away late Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Flowers Hospital following a brief illness. She was 81. Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 3, 2011, at Ozark Presbyterian Church with Pastors Randall Yelverton and John D. Reese officiating and Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Mrs. Hart was born to Marion and Ruth Baxley Edge in St. Pauls, North Carolina on April 17, 1929. She was a member of Ozark Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School. She traveled extensively before and after the death of her husband. She also received an Associate degree from Wallace Community College.
Mrs. Hart is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband, Edward Stansbury Hart. She is survived by daughters, Linda (Sam) Childree, Patti (Richard) Garcia; sons, Barry Hart, Jeffrey Hart; sister, Elma Anderson; sisters-in-law, Marie Edge, Ann Edge; grandchildren, Carmen (Jack) Youngblood, Heather (Randy) Sommers, Michelle (Seeb) Lacey, Austin Garcia, William Childree; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Samantha, Victoria, Matthew, Avery, Eden, Dakota; and several other family members. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to World Vision.
