
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Black and Modene Higgins Black of Spanish Fort, AL.
She is survived by her son, Tim Kelly, daughter-in-law Paige and grandchildren Mary Clair, Brock and Mignon Kelly of Tupelo, MS; her sister and friend, Joan Carter of Ozark, AL; her nephew Robert Atha of Wichita, KS; nieces Melissa Anne Jones of Kennesaw, GA, and Jill Marie Carter of Enterprise, AL; and long time friend, Vernell Forman of Theodore, AL.
Bunny was a resident of Mobile, AL, for many years. She worked at Alabama Power Company for almost 30 years. She attended Christ United Methodist Church in Mobile. Bunny had a kind and generous heart, a sense of humor, and love of animals. She volunteered at SPCA of Mobile, and served on the board of the Friends of Mobile Animal Shelter (FOMAS).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to SPCA of Mobile or Friends of Mobile City Animal Shelter.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
