

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church of Ozark with Rev. Dr. Christian Eckert and Rev. Meghan Kelley officiating and Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Laura, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adam Lewis Bagenski, was born January 6, 1948 in Glen Cove, New York. She was a 14 year veteran of the U. S. Army having served in the Pentagon as an administrative specialist to the Sergeant Major of the Army. After her military service, she was administrative assistant to the Director of 6-East at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan until she became sick. Laura was a member of Ozark First United Methodist Church and a member of the choir.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church Choir, 167 E. Broad Street, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
Laura is survived by her husband, Gary C. Loftin of Skipperville; her aunt and uncle, Alice and Red Keenan of Long Island, New York; her mother-in-law, Evelyn Loftin of Ozark; and her sister-in-law, Sylvia Frier of Ozark.
