
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 3, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. in the Ozark Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Hale and Rev. Brian Pitts officiating. Interment will follow in Post Oak Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m until 3:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary.

Lonnie, the son of the late Lonnie K. and Helen Bell Tucker, Sr., was born September 19, 1943 in Dale County, Alabama. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Lonnie loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Ozark Baptist Church where he loved to study and teach the Bible. He
taught Sunday School at Ozark Baptist Church and Post Oak Baptist Church for many years. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Lonnie is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Faye Sammons Tucker; his daughter, Angie Tucker Childers and her husband Lee of Skipperville; his son, Mike Tucker and his wife Wendy of Ariton; four grandchildren: Colby Tucker, Macey Tucker, Clay Childers, and Jordan Childers; one brother, Billy Joe Tucker of Jack, Alabama, one sister , Ginny Tucker Barbee and her husband Darrell of Charlotte, North Carolina; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Allen Latimer, Chris Walker, Robert Deloney, Alan Henderson, Dan Shirah and Joe Price.
