Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Tuesday, December 2, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Ozark, 368 James St. Ozark, AL. 36360.

Mrs. Stewart was born April 25, 1926 in Alapaha, Ga. to Joshua and Allie Gertrude Stinson Ellis. She loved to crochet and made afghans for the children at the Children’s Cancer Hospital in Birmingham. Mrs. Stewart loved and attended the Senior Center in Ozark.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Stewart; her great-granddaughter, Alana Bailey; three brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Stewart is survived by her daughter, Loretta L. Bailey (Ralph) of North Carolina; her son, Vince Stewart (Pamela) of Ozark; four grandchildren, Alex Stewart, Edward Stewart, Amy Friekie and Shannon James; also surviving are her two great-grandchildren, Catherine James and Jessie James.
