Open visitation will take place Friday, July 22, 2016 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home; 508 Faust Avenue Ozark, Alabama 36360.

Mrs. Blakeney was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church in Newton, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her mother; Johnnie Davis: father: Clarence Davis: daughter: LaWanda Blakeney and her grandparents: Jessie and Kizzie Day Bryant.

Mrs. Blakeney leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughters: LaQuetta G. Cockrell (Robert) of Olympia, Washington, LaMoina F. Blakeney-Brooks of Ozark, Alabama, sons: Lanoir C. Blakeney(Teresa) of Tacoma, Washington; Leonard M. Blakeney(Angela) of Wylie, Texas: Lamire M. Blakeney of Ozark, Alabama: grandchildren: Marlon L. Cockrell, LaKeshia G. Cockrell, Brittany A. Blakeney, Shermanique L. Brooks, Shermetria E. Brooks, Yakira A. Wells, Yakala M. Wells, Aaron M. Blakeney, Aryanna M. Blakeney, great-grandchildren; Camden Cockrell, Logan Thompson, god son: Randy Clayton: sister and brother in law: Louise and Bobby Johnson and sister in law: Lillie Mae Cauthen.
