

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, May 9, 2014, at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with Reverend Tom Skeen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or to Mt. Carmel Cemetery Fund, c/o Kate Dossett, 165 Private Rd. 1569, Ozark, AL. 36360 or to Gentiva Hospice.
Mrs. Woodham was born March 3, 1915, in Midland City to Fitzhugh and Bertie Newton Peacock. She joined Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in 1927 and was the oldest living member. She worked with the Dale County School System for 38 years from 1953 until her retirement as Lunch Room Manager in 1991. Mrs. Woodham was also a faithful member of the Cottage Prayer Group.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 37 years, Camie Lee Woodham; her sister, Mattie Lee Ward; her brothers, Luther, Coley, Clayton, Virgil, John and Leon Peacock.
Mrs. Woodham is survived by her sons, Olen Woodham and his wife Sandra of Midland City, Jerry Woodham and his friend Rhebia Raines of Ozark; her granddaughter, Tanya Denise Woodham Hallmon; her great-grandsons, Braxton Woodham Hallmon and Kohen Hallmon; also surviving is her special niece, Annette Mallory; several other nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Jeanette Williams. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregiver, Mary Ann Wilkerson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Woodham, Wendell Holmes, Gene Turvin, Phillip Parker, Jeff Woodham and Christopher Dobbs.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Cottage Prayer Group, Danny Dossett, Randy Parnell and Huey Griffin.
