Paul William Krause

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013, from the chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Reverend Rusty Burleson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westview Heights United Methodist Church.

Paul proudly served his country for 25 years in the United States Air Force retiring as a Technical Sergeant. Among his many responsibilities in the military was serving as an aircraft mechanic for the Enola Gay. Paul was an instructor for 18 ½ years at the Alabama Institute of Aviation Technology in Ozark. He treasured his time singing in the Westview Heights United Methodist Church choir. In later years, his other interests were playing golf and helping others. Paul will be missed by family and all that knew him.

Paul is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marie Suzanne Krause; son, Dominique Krause (Lee Ann); two daughters, Patricia Searcy (Dennis) and Catherine McCaslin (Mark); four grandchildren, Jason Searcy (Jodi), Laura Estes (Donald), Andrew and Rachel McCaslin; five great-grandchildren; three brothers; and a nephew.
