Paula A. Collins

Paula Beier Collins of Ozark, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. She was born on February 19, 1928 in Hamburg, Germany and was the daughter of Alfred and Margaretha Lindeboom Beier. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, James Collins.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Shay Collins of Ariton, Alabama; her daughter and son-in-law, Debra Collins-Smalls and Gordon Smalls, of Oro Valley, Arizona; her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Amy Collins, of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren: Andre Collins, Courtney Collins, and Jeremiah and Joshua Haswell; two great-grandchildren: Jeremiah Greer Haswell and Mary Harper Haswell.

Paula was a long-time resident of LaMirada, California and most recently the Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center. She survived World War II and two bouts of breast cancer. She had a strong Catholic faith and was a loving and caring mother who will be truly missed.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
