Robbie L. Eldridge

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2015 at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dave Walsh officiating. A private burial for family only will follow at Post Oak Baptist Church Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1-2 on Friday prior to the services.

Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

Robbie was born October 5, 1947 in Ozark. She moved around the county with a military spouse who later worked for an international construction firm. She resided in Oklahoma, Massachusetts and Florida before moving to Montgomery where she resided for over 30 years. She was employed at Baptist Medical Center South for many years. Robbie was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Robbie is predeceased by her mother, Birtie Clyde Tharpe.

Survivors include two sons, Christopher (Chris) Eldridge and his wife Tiffany, of Prattville and Brian Eldridge and wife, Joesette of Key West, FL; 5 grandchildren, Colton and Savannah Eldridge, Mathew and Madyson Eldridge and Gabriel Eldridge; her father, Leemon H. Tharpe of Ozark; a sister, Sandra Deal and husband, Warde; several nieces, nephews and cousins; her special cats, “Pint”, “Muggs” and “Baby”.
